BC RCMP has released information regarding a chase on Sunday.

Grand Forks RCMP responded to a report of a stolen dirt bike. The vehicle was located on Highway 3 travelling with another motorcycle and a stolen Ford F-350 and travel trailer. All three vehicles fled dangerously but RCMP followed the truck and trailer; the trailer was abandoned on the side of the road, and the truck was abandoned after fleeing down the Danville Highway.

RCMP says the driver fled on foot to a farmhouse and reportedly brandished a knife against the owners demanding keys to a vehicle. He fled Westbound Highway 3 in a Dodge 1500 pickup, which was located by police after the use of a spike-belt.

The driver was arrested without incident after fleeing into another residence.

Charges include robbery, break and enter, possession of stolen property, and more. The 36 year old is being held in custody and will appear before the Provincial Court.
