Disaster Financial Assistance was a hot topic at last night’s public meeting at Grand Forks Secondary School. The DFA program can compensate for uninsurable losses and reimburse local governments for damaged infrastructure. Following the Provincial Government’s announcement earlier this week, DFA coordinator Carrie Dallaway says the Boundary has been approved!
She adds members of the Emergency Operations Centre are a huge help.
