The recovery process could take a while for Grand Forks, but a community member is stepping up to help. Chuck Varabioff, owner and organizer for the Cannafest music festival has started a GoFundMe page. He says it’s about giving back.
Varabioff adds that he has also been personally affected.
As of today the page has raised roughly $28,000 – all from less than 200 people in less than a week. Varabioff adds that with help from Community Futures Boundary, at least $28,000 will be dispersed between the first 56 approved applicants starting Sunday. To donate, click here!
