A reminder of the consequences that can sometimes come with jumping the gun on social media posts.
Here’s Cpl Darryl Orr with the Trail RCMP.
The girls posted that video on Facebook in hopes of identifying the man.
He contacted RCMP and it was determined he hadn’t done anything wrong and was just having a meal.
Orr says there has been many “disparaging” and “ridiculous” comments made to both parties since the post went public.
