Saints Nation continues to bask in their championship glory.
Castlegar Mayor Lawrence Chernoff is particularly pleased with Selkirk College’s hockey team’s fourth consecutive BCIHL title which was claimed over the weekend.
Chernoff says it was amazing to see how the team brought the community together.
He says having a championship calibre team builds a sense of pride throughout the area for the school and it’s hockey program.
There will be a rally for the saints at the Castlegar Selkirk campus Wednesday at noon and the entire community is invited.
