The Senior Girls Soccer Team of Grand Forks Secondary School is back from provincials. It was the first time in over 15 years that the Wolves have been represented there, and GFSS finished 11th out of 16! Coach Mike Phelan says there was a lot to learn.
They’re more than happy with where they placed.
He says the tournament had some highlights!
Zaily Howard led the team in scoring with Victoria Henne, and Rylee Lloyd. The MVP was Ariana Clark, who is going on to play for Capilano University next year. Phelan adds that he’s proud of what the team accomplished.
