Fathers Day was a hit at the Grand Forks Royal Canadian Legion. They hosted a free salmon bbq, they also had cake, and entertainment including Grand Forks Pipes and Drums. Entertainment Chairman Everett Baker is also President of the Boundary Food Bank. He says it came in handy!
They raised $2300!
He says the money raised is going to flood relief!
Baker says it feels good to give back to a struggling community. Over 50 volunteers helped out with the event on Sunday.
