Summer is upon us, and police across the province are stepping up efforts to prevent impaired driving. BC RCMP say the month of July is dedicated to the Summer Counter Attack Impaired Driving Campaign. Two major events will be held to target driving under the influence, which includes impairment by illegal drugs or prescription medication. Police are asking motorists to drive safely and obey directions of officers at check-stops.
