The Castlegar And District Recreation Commission looks set on making improvements to the recreation complex.
This from Chair Lawrence Chernoff who is speaking to a master plan which identifies improvements to the fitness area as the first area to be looked at in a five level upgrade at the complex.
Chernoff says the fitness centre was the highest priority among the plublic to receive upgrades.
He feels it represents the desire of many residents to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
