A 50 square meter wild-land fire kept emergency services busy Monday evening. RCMP Corporal Phillip Crack explains.
Crack adds that RCMP were involved for about an hour, and the cause of the crash is not yet known. Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Mckinnon says the fire escalated.
But crews were able to beat the blaze. Fire and Rescue took about 2 and a half hours to extinguish the fire, and returned Tuesday morning just to be safe.
