If you woke up in Greenwood this morning to find your water services aren’t working, you’re not alone. An Emergency Water Shutoff Notice was posted by the City of Greenwood after an accidental water main break. Portions of Silver Avenue from Greenwood Street to the Curling Rink were affected. Gold Avenue from Greenwood Street to Highway 3, and the south, right-handed side of Highway 3 were affected from 9AM to 12PM. Repairs were required but the cause of the break has not been made public.
