SD20 survey questions cuts to busing

Is the BC Government spending taxpayer money in the right places?

Andrew Davidoff, the president of the Kootenay Columbia teacher’s union doesn’t think so.

He is reacting to a survey which was distributed to SD20 employees which outlined possible cuts to the district’s busing service.

Davidoff says the SD20 deficit is now at $950,000.

He adds students in BC are underfunded and would like to see parents stand up to potential cuts outlined from the ministry of education.
