Midway residents will go to the polls Oct. 20 to choose a mayor, but not a council.
Incumbent mayor Doug McMynn is facing challenger Martin Fromme.
But the council seats have been filled by acclamation: incumbents Richard Dunsdon, Darrin Metcalf, and Gary Schierback are back, plus newcomer Fred Grouette. Incumbent Marguerite Rotvold did not file re-election papers.
