The Kelowna Chiefs visited Bear Country Friday and left with their near perfect record in tact. Despite a valiant effort from the home team, the Chiefs waltzed to a 7-2 victory on the strength of 35 saves from goaltender Braeden Mitchell. Grand Forks still out-shot the KIJHL’s top team 37-29. With the loss, the Border Bruins record sits at 3-7-0-1, while Kelowna remains undefeated in regulation at 12-0-0-1. On Friday, October 19th, the Bruins play The 100 Mile House Wranglers at the South Cariboo Rec Centre.
