The Grand Forks Border Bruins were not messing around this weekend, going 1-1 with a pair of close games. On Friday Briar Whyte closed the game in overtime 6-5, edging out the Creston Valley Thunder Cats. Grand Forks and Spokane clashed on Sunday and it was almost looking like a repeat, but the Braves scored with 8 seconds left taking that game 5-4. Tomorrow night, October 30th,the Bruins face the Rebels in Castlegar, puck drops at 7.
