The Border Bruins were in Castlegar last night to take on the Rebels. An early deficit couldn’t stop Grand Forks as the Bruins scored three times on breakaways to stop the Rebels 4-3. Zane Avery scored on a breakaway with 2:20 left in overtime to complete the comeback. It was a heated, physical affair with both teams looking to grab extra points versus their Murdoch division rivals. Ross King was a brick wall in net with 41 saves on the night.
