The Border Bruins were on the road again this weekend visiting Creston on Friday. Grand Forks held their ground at first but the Thunder Cats won 5-2 after a hectic 3rd period. The Bruins were in Nelson Saturday and put up a solid fight, but 2 power play goals from Zane Avery would not be enough and the Leafs beat Grand Forks 4-3. The Grand Forks Border Bruins are back at The Jack this Friday to face the Columbia Valley Rockies, puck drops at 7.
