The Grand Forks Border Bruins went 1-1 over the weekend with some exciting hockey. Grand Forks out-shot the Rockies 43-31 at home Friday, but even four power play goals would not be enough. Columbia Valley pulled ahead in the 3rd winning 5-4.
On Sunday the Bruins headed to Castlegar. Evan Gorman kicked off the game with a power play, and the Rebels fought back in the 3rd but it wasn’t in time. Grand Forks beat the Rebels 5-4 and face the Beaver Valley Nitehawks back The Jack Friday, December 7. Puck drops at 7:00PM.
