Now that spring is here, it is time to get rid of those studded winter tires, however with the COVID-19 emergency upon us what if we are in isolation?
Grand Forks RCMP replied to Juice FM’s question with the following recommendations:
-Studs are not required to be removed until May 1st.
-Mechanical shops have been deemed essential service, thus operating, so people can still take their vehicles in.
-Police are deferring action, to their discretion, when appropriate.
Road Safety BC is expected to announce extensions to the regulations, if any, by the end of April.
