Plans to better connect Creston Valley grown produce to neighbouring communities are coming together.
A group behind improving access to Creston area produce has a truck to fill and test distribution run set for May 11th.
Margaret Devantier  of Just-a-Mere Organic Farm says this inaugural trip, from Creston to Crawford Bay, will determine a number of factors.
Devantier says the goal is a year round, weekly trip from Creston to the East Shore, then over to Nelson and looping back over the summit.
The truck would deliver organic and naturally grown food to wholesale distributors.
