The boys and girls local Major Midget hockey programs want their new home to feature dressing rooms suitable for elite players.
General Manager Terry Jones and organizers of the partnering JL Crowe Hockey Academy are looking at under-utilized areas of the Trail Memorial Centre to convert to new rooms.
Areas being considered include the figure skating room and the old concession.
Trail city council has decided to wait until a clearer estimate of installation costs can be provided before setting aside any funds for this project.
