Midway’s fire chief is happy with the results from Saturday’s referendum.
Residents voted in favour of creating a new fire protection zone for the Kettle Valley.
Walter Osellame says the new zone is a boon for the community.
He says there will likely be a satellite location and resources allocated throughout the area.
