The Grand Forks Border Bruins bounced back with a pair of wins this weekend. The Braves were in bear country Friday but Ross King was outstanding in net picking up his first shutout of the season, and the Bruins swept Spokane 5-0. Saturday the Castlegar Rebels out-shot Grand Forks 38-29 but the Border Bruins were hungry for revenge, and a pair of power play tallies would seal the deal, ending that game 3-2. The Bruins, 3rd in the Neil Murdoch Division, are heading to Kamloops to face the Revelstoke Grizzlies next Thursday, December 27th.
