Creston hosting 2017 Cyclone Taylor Cup Hockey Tournament

Creston will stage next year’s Cyclone Taylor Cup hockey tournament.

The Creston Valley Thunder Cats won the bid to host the BC Provincial Junior B Hockey Championship.

Coach Jeff Dubois says three different champions from other Junior B leagues in the province as well as the Thunder Cats will compete for the cup.

He says it was a competitive process.


The Thunder Cats beat out four other bidding communities.

The Cyclone Taylor Cup is set for April 6-9, 2017.
