The Zellstoff Celgar pulp mill in Castlegar has fixed that storage tank leak.
It says it was repaired without further incident Thursday afternoon.
The initial investigation determined that the leak was the result of a failed flange gasket. There were some odors in the community but the mill says these were not a health concern.
It says the monitoring equipment in the tank area detected the failure quickly in the early hours of this morning and their emergency response team responded immediately.
The tank will remain isolated and out of service while a full inspection is completed.
Mill operations were expected to return to normal after pre-start-up checks.
