A new doctor will soon start practicing part-time at the Midway Medical Clinic.
In a news release, the Village of Midway said Dr. Gwen Campbell will begin work on Nov. 2. Dr. Campbell currently practices in Grand Forks. A second physician, whose name has not been revealed, is expected to join the Midway clinic in early May.
The village thanked the Prima Health Cooperative for its recruitment efforts to bring both physicians to the community. The village and the health co-op signed an agreement earlier this year.
The village said as Dr. Campbell begins at the clinic, cases will be prioritized based on patients’ care needs. You’re asked to call only when you need medical attention, rather than to arrange an introductory visit with the new physician.
