River levels have exceeded historic highs from 1948 and are expected to continue rising overnight.

Ongoing flooding in the Boundary has forced the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary to place more evacuation orders.
As of this morning 517 residences have been evacuated affecting about 1,100 people.
The trouble areas for rising waters are the West Kettle, Kettle and Granby rivers and Christina Lake. The RDKB says 1,500 people remain on evacuation alerts.
River levels in the Boundary are expected to reach their highest levels since 1948.
