A new farmers market is an event that could potentially bring people to Trail’s downtown.
This from city councilor Lisa Pasin who feels events like the new market can add to the vibrancy of the downtown core and entice people to get reacquainted or familiarized with the area.
The market will run bi-weekly on Saturday mornings from May through September.
The location hasn’t been confirmed yet but the preferred area is the 1300 block of Cedar Avenue. That could see the re-routing of local transit but Pasin doesn’t expect it would be a major issue.
