The Boundary Historical Society is paying respect to a local legend.
President Les Johnson says one of three Phoenix residents who stayed behind when the city turned into a ghost town is finally getting a grave marker.
The historical society was recently reminded that the Phoenix cemetery is their responsibility.
So far most of their work has been maintenance and repairs.
