A number of local parent advisory groups are raising concerns about process and possible schools reconfiguration.
This with just over two weeks to go before the SD8 board comes up with a draft plan.
Cate Baio, the PAC Chair at Wildflower School in Nelson, is encouraging the community to get engaged now rather than later.
SD8 says all feedback is being considered right now and the draft plan will also go out for feedback throughout April.
