Grand Forks Fire & Rescue have had a relatively peaceful week despite an eventful few days around town.
A truck carrying logs was over-turned on Tuesday morning just before 4AM. Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Mckinnon explains.
Crews helped the driver exit his vehicle, and checked the truck for fluid leaks that could be harmful to the environment.
Grand Forks Fire & Rescue is already keeping an eye on this year’s snowpack. Mckinnon adds that residents shouldn’t be burning inside city limits.
There was also a structure fire on Monday at the East end of Gilpin road which was out of their jurisdiction.
