If you’re a business in the downtown core, you can expect a notice to be hand-delivered to your door-step soon. It’s regarding the April 12th scheduled power outage planned by the City of Grand Forks to upgrade sections of a power line.
The affected area is roughly 4th Street to Riverside Drive, from Market Avenue to the 2nd Street Bridge that crosses the Kettle River. The block of 72nd Avenue and Riverside Drive appears to be excluded in the Cities diagram. The outage is scheduled to start at 1PM and last for at least 8 hours that Thursday.
