A structure Fire last week took the home of a long-time Grand Forks resident. It happened Monday on Gilpin Road around noon.
Peter Savinkoff was asleep inside with his pets when a chimney fire started. Daughter in-law Jessica Bryan says the property was too far out for the fire department.
Bryan has started a GoFundMe campaign to help Savinkoff, who prior to the fire, had lived there for 40 years. She says it’s been successful so far.
But that’s not all!
